DigiMax Tester

In order to design DigiMax and DigiMax Lite channel mods I had to build this simple tester. The tester has 2 main functions, it mimics a radio to display the nCode being passed to the radio in real time and provides power to DigiMax mod circuit. This makes it simpler and more efficient to debug firmware for DigiMax mod during development stage.

Schematic Diagram

The circuit is very simple, it uses PIC16F628A to read nCode produced by DigiMax or DigiMax Lite mods circuit and display it as decimal through 74LS48 a common cathode BCD to 7-Segment decoder.
